CodeScape
- Problem
- Opening an unfamiliar repository means hours of reading files before you know where a request even goes.
- What I did
- Built CodeScape. Paste a public GitHub repository and folders become districts, files become buildings, and the imports and calls parsed from the source become arcs between them. Code journeys follow a request from its entry point, every claim links back to a file and line, and the code is never executed. A CLI does the same for private or local code.
- What happened
- Live at codescape.manuchim.com, with 50 well-known codebases (Kubernetes, React, Docker and more) ready to explore.
